Do you have any info on ear drops for dogs that has made them go deaf or do you have info on otomax?

Otomax can cause temporary deafness in dogs, but only in the ear it was placed in, unless it was used in both ears. It is really really super rare though. Usually the deafness clears up in about 6 weeks, and the medication should be switched, maybe to Surolan. The other possibility is that the infection the dog was put on the otomax for did unforseen damage to the ear that just happened to show up when you started treating it.

Deafness, blindness, and muteness can occur in dogs as well, but not all dogs are affected. Some breeds may be more prone to these conditions due to genetics or health issues. It's important for pet owners to be aware of these possibilities and provide any necessary support or accommodations for their dogs.
