Technically, yes; practically, try to negotiate a compromise with the board.
When you buy or move into a condominium as a tenant, best practices dictate that you read the governing documents to determine whether or not this private democracy's covenants, limitations, rules and regulations fit your life style.
However, a service dog can become part of a person's life at any time.
Limits on the size of pets in a condominium protects everybody. The issues are liability, and for the safety of the animal (can you carry a 120# dog to the car in an emergency?)
You can approach the board and ask for an exemption. You can pass along the service dog's training credentials, and otherwise demonstrate your ability to accommodate the safety of the animal.
It's unreasonable that given your sensitivity to the governing documents and willingness to accommodate the animal, that a board would de facto deny your right to live with a service animal in a condominium.
