The Jimmys can be towed from the rear as long as it is a 4 X 2 model or if the 4 X 4 is not engaged ... It is recommended that you tow from rear because if you tow from front, the transmission can get pretty screwed up depending on distance... Eons ago you could do all Front except Commercial Vehicles... Todays transmission is the main issue in towing... That is why most tow truck companys went to all Rollbacks which is the best way to transport any vehicle therefore no problems...
