Most Jews will eat turkey if they like it. However, some Orthodox Jews won't because there isn't a historical tradition of eating them (they were introduced to Europeans, etc approximately 100 years ago).

Yes they can eat turkey as long as it follows their basic rules of keeping kosher. As with other kosher species of meat and poultry, all blood must be drained from the turkey, or broiled out of it before it is eaten.

Kosher species are listed in the Torah (Deuteronomy 14). Other animals and birds may not be eaten at all. Of the animals that may be eaten, the birds and mammals must be killed in accordance with Jewish law.

The laws of kashrut (Jewish dietary laws) specify that in order for land animals to be considered valid food animals, they must have both split hooves and chew their cud. There is a common misconception that Jews consider non-kosher animals to be unclean but this is not correct, it's simply that they're not considered fit for eating. Additionally, animals that qualify as food animals must also be domesticated, this means that wild deer are not kosher while domestic deer are kosher.

Because it's a kosher bird.

Quote: "To the best of my knowledge, all of the major kashrut organizations (OU, Star-K, Vineland [CRC-Hisachdus Horabonim-Satmar], Margareten, Breuer's, and all Israeli Rabbinates and Badatzes) treat the turkey as a kosher bird, and it is consumed by all segments of the Jewish world" (Rabbi Ari Z. Zivotofsky, an expert on kashrut issues).

YES. Provided that the turkey undergoes shechita or ritual slaughter, turkeys are both feathered and non-raptors, making them acceptable "flying animals" to eat under the laws of kashrut.
