The question makes little sense. If the boy is already Moslem, he cannot convert to being Moslem. A person cannot convert to the religion they already hold. This is true of every single religion.

∙ 13y agoIf you are a child under puberty age then you are not allowed to change religion as you are still under age of having independent and free-choice decision. After puberty age and after having your own independent life, then you are allowed to make your choice and to be ready to hold responsibility of your choice.
The Qur'an says:
" ... if one from among you (Muslims) turn back from his religion (Islam), God will bring a people whom He will love and they will love Him...."
[Quran, chapter 5, verse 54]
Allah doesn't need us to worship him, however it is us who needs to worship Allah, to be safe on the Day of Judgment. We worship for our own sake, not Allah's sake.
