It generally starts as a few small spots then grows to look like bruises. Take a clear glass and press it against the rash. If the rash doesn't fade, it is a sign that it is a meningitis rash.

∙ 11y agoHi, I have the rash right now and I can tell you it is very bad. I came back from school and it was all over my upper body. And now (the next day) its everywhere. The doctor said it will go down in a while.
Sometimes Allergies will start out small such as a rash. However, the next time the allergy from the medication could turn into a major attack which could cause one to stop breathing. In other words tell your MD and Pharmacist that Penicillin (PCN) cause's you to get a rash and they will give you an alternative antibiotic. Take care, Jupiter's Dawn

∙ 9y agoIt is diffuse measles like rash. They probably call this rash as morbilliform rash. Any type rash after tablet penicillin should be taken as penicillin allergy. Never use penicillin in such patient.
