from personal experience no.....if any form of mood stabilizers anti psychotics or any other form of psychosis meds could affect birth control they would tell you when you went to get it......they will ask what you are taking and if you get the shot if it is going to have any effect they will tell you that it wont work........but in my personal experience it has always been effective.......
