I think in Michigan you have to be 18 in order to get married. You can date a 19 year old but you can't marry them. It's only a couple more years anyhow, what's the rush? You can live with the 19 year old and your parents can't stop you, I know that for sure. Good luck!

you can be 16 to marry in Michigan with parents concent

Depending upon which states allow it, written and notarized consent by both parents can permit this union. Just happened with a 40 year old teacher and his 16 year old student.

I think its right if your truly in love with that person no matter how old. You cant stop how you feel for someone, so i say its okay like you can get marriage papers and go thought with it but be careful.

It is indeed possible for a 22 year old to be engaged with a 16 year old with parent consent.

However, it must be taken into consideration about the knowledge level of what must be maintained in a relationship. Statistics show that 2 out of ever 35 relationships that involve a more mature age and a minor do not withstand a healthy, ongoing relationship. Of course, people are different and so is comprehension of the needs to endure a healthy relationship.

It is unnecessary, furthermore, illegal for a mature person to be engaged with a minor. Even though different states and countries have contrasting rules about the matter, it is a decision that is to be taken into deep consideration for the well-being of the child; moreover.

No, you must be 18 to get married without parental consent in any state in the United States. Some states will allow a license to be issued for 16 or 17-year-old if there is a court order.
