∙ 13y agoAs a mammal, a bat can get rabies. It is actually not very common for a bat to get rabies, though. Not only do they have little contact with other mammals (since they are either flying around in the air or sleeping in tight, hard-to-get-to spaces), but a bat that does get rabies tends to become lethargic and "sleepy" rather than aggressive, so they rarely transmit it to one another. Less than 0.05% of bats ever contract rabies.
