Yes if and only if either parent carries a recessive trait for Hazel eyes. In other words, if a grandparent or even a great-grandparent on either side has hazel eyes then YES the chances of having a child with hazel eyes OR even their children having hazel eyes is VERY possible.
It is possible, as long as somewhere up the line there were some blue-eyed ancestors or quite a few who carried the blue eyes gene. But most likely the baby will have a lighter shade of brown. Most caucasian infants are born with Blueish-Grayish eyes that eventually darken or change to their official hue.
No. In order to have blue or green eyes (or any other light colored eyes) you have to have both recessive genes (you have one gene from your mom and one from your dad). If you have blue or green eyes you can't have any dominant (brown eye) genes. If you have brown eyes you can have a hybrid gene which means it has a dominant and a recessive gene (light eyes and dark eyes). If both parents have brown eyes but they have hybrid genes their recessive one can be a lighter color. So if both parents have a recessive gene of blue their children can have blue eyes.
I hope this is helpful!!!
It all depends on the baby, your family before you. So if you have any further questions I would ask a scientist or maybe even your primary care doctor. Glad to help. =)
yes they can because someone of another generation could of had brown eyes
of course
More than likely green!
They can be ANY color. It depends on your parents eyes too. It depends on how the genes are gonna work.
the male has GREEN eyes and the female has BROWN eyes what eye color would the baby have
My husband and I both have dark brown eyes. There are eyes of blue, green, hazel and brown on both our sides of the family. Our firstborn has blue eyes. Our second born has dark brown eyes. Our third and last born has hazel eyes.
Yes that happened to my teacher So when i was a baby i was born with bark electric blue eyes after six months they turned green for two months then they went dark brown. When i was 10 my eyes became the shade of amber. My eyes have a purple-blue ring around my eye, which my eye doctor told me when i am twenty i should have full blown spring green eyes. I am currently 13, and my eyes have turned hazel, but still have some amber- brown hazel streaks in them. The opposite thing happens with hair however i used to be a tow head blonde, and now i am a dirty blonde. Hope i helped :) and consider talking to your eye doctor
hazel
most likely brown
no
They can and do.
well there is really no way to tell what your baby will look like. if you have brown eyes and brown hair than your baby will probably have that. if you have black hair and hazel eyes, your baby will probably have that.
because hazel is recessive, and brown is dominant. meaning that brown overrules hazel, but hazel is still there in at least one of the parents' genetic make up. then the hazel can show up later.
Yes, it happened with my dad. His dad had blue eyes and his mom has brown eyes and he ended up with hazel.
Possible, but might turn out hazel
a baby's appearance can be brought from several generations prior to you or your partner. just because neither of you have hazel eyes doesnt mean your baby wont there might be a great great grandparent that had hazel eyes. For example my husband has brown eyes and mine are hazel but my daughters eyes are blue like my fathers.
More than likely green!
your great grandfather has nothing to do with it.
wow um wat ever you want it too be du
