Yes unless you have in writing you have cancelled any order you have with that company. Once you give out your credit card # to such places as so many DVDs per month, computer software, etc., then they usually hook you and reel you in. This means they can send you 1 - 10 DVDs a month (even ones you don't care for) and since they have your credit card # they can send it payment to your credit card. Even though many sites on the internet say they are safe it's best not to give out your credit card # or get a 2nd credit card with a $1,000 limit.
In business if you ordered 100 tires for your auto business, you had a squabble with the tire company and didn't want to deal with them, then you would have to at least send a registered letter stating your company no longer requires their services. Management has got to sign that registered letter so there is no way they can fake "not hearing from you." If you have written them (heresay has no stand in the court system) and they still persist on charging your credit card with those 100 tires they have broken the law!
