∙ 12y agoIn the United States, it doesn't matter how old you are to be adopted. Some children are adopted when they are just newborns. In other countries, this may not be the same.

∙ 13y agoYes; in fact, lots of kids in US foster care who need families are over 16. Non-US citizens who are over 16 cannot gain US citizenship via adoption, however.
