∙ 14y agocause diabetes, no. but they do not help you if you are a borderline diabetic. you should try to not eat to much sugar. no it runs in the family or if u r really really fat you can get diabetes i have diabetes that why i wrote this type 1 !!!!!!!!!!!:(

∙ 8y agoYes. You can have a Diet Soda if you keep in mind a few things. A diet soda will contain sugars which will compete with any carbs in your meal. You want to pay attention to your carb intake and plan ahead. If you are to have a diet soda in your meal, be sure to decrease or eliminate the other sugars in the meal.

∙ 14y agoI have yet to get a craving of sugar from drinking diet soda, and I don't know anybody who has. The only documented experiment on this concluded with that a craving for sugar can occur during or after drinking diet soda, but not actually because of the soda.

∙ 11y agoNo, being a diebetic myself its actually what diebetics should drink because regular soda has too much sugar. So just to anser the question diet soda does NOT give you diabetes.
