Do not ever give dogs grapes. Not even one. Grapes have been linked to kidney failure in dogs. No one is quite sure why this happens.
If you're concerned because your dog has already eaten one grape... the good news is that he or she will probably be fine; the estimated toxic dose is about 30 grams (an ounce, approximately) per kg body weight.
However, that's an estimate, and it's possible that some dogs may be more sensitive than others (or that some kinds of grapes may be more toxic than others). There's no point in taking chances, so you should do your best to make sure that your dog does not have access to grapes (or raisins) in the future.
There is no reason to ever feed your dog grapes intentionally; this is sort of equivalent to saying "Well, there's not that MUCH rat poison in it, go ahead and let him eat it
