If it's a complete lab test done, then yes, it can distinguish between all the opiates, all the benzodiazpenes (sp?) Most drug tests will just show up as "opiates" in your system, but it depends on how many the panel checks for. The smallest ones are 3, I know with drug tests if you're in trouble with the law they only do a five panel test. My doctor did a 12 panel test wit me and was able to differentiate when I told him the only opiate I took was my prescribed Lortabs. Then he said, "Well, why is oxycodone showing up then?" :/

They are the same drug. Oxycontin is pure oxycodone just in a slow release tablet usually taken once every 12 hrs which are available as 10mg, 20mg, 40mg and 100mg tablets vs the quick release oxycodone such as Percocet which is 5mg Oxycodone/325mg Acetaminophen per tablet.

No. Unless it is a very specific test. A regular urine test will test the same for both drugs.

What is supeudol for?

Supeudol is a type of painkiller medication in the opiods family. Similar to oxycontin, percocet, etc, it contains the drug oxycodone. The main difference between Supeudol and other opiates is the fact that supeudol releases the oxycodone quickly, instead of the timed release oxycontin.

How does a urine drug screen tell the difference between Oxcycontin and oxcycodone?

Oxycontin is just a time release version of oxycodone. I take oxycodone 15mg, which is fast acting, you can get Oxycontin in 60 or 80mg but it is made to work over a longer time period, some people get into trouble with Oxycontin because they break time release by chewing it, this is very dangerous to put that much oxycodone in your system at once. The only way a test would detect the "difference" is by the amount in your system but not the drug. If you chew up an Oxycontin 60 it will show up the same as if you took 4 oxycodone 15mg. It's the same drug, just different concentrations.

Will Oxycontin and roxi show up the same in drug test?

Yes, both medications contain the same drug, oxycodone. The only difference between the two is Oxycontin releases the drug slowly over a period of 8-12 hours, and Roxi releases instantly, like Percocet or Vicodin.

Can a drug test tell the difference between percocet and Oxycontin?

Yes, when I was hired in at my job a few years ago, the drug test results paper had Oxycodone (Percocet) and Oxycontin listed as 2 separate things. I also was drug tested when I was being put on Suboxone to quit doing painkillers, and they were listed as 2 separate things. Drug tests are able to distinguish between the two.

What is the difference between oxycodine and oxycontine?

First, I'm assuming you are referring to Oxycodone (Oxycodine is a common misspelling of Oxycodone). To answer your question they are the same drug... Oxycontin contains Oxycodone, the only difference being that Oxycontin is designed as a time-released version of Oxycodone over 8-12 hours. Oxycontin pills go as high as 160mg per dose. That is why people overdose so easily on Oxycontin when they are chewed up and swallowed or crushed to snort/inject. The high dose hits them all at once rather than being released over several hours. This can be very lethal unless the individual has already been taking the drug for a while and their body has built a sufficient tolerance to it.

Will oxycontin and percocet show up the same on a drug test?

They are the exact same thing. They are both the drug oxycodone. The only difference is that percocet has acetaminophen in it. So the answer to your question is YES.

Is mscontin the same as Oxycontin on urine drug test?

Difference between Oxycodin and Oxycotin?

oxycodin is either a misspelling for oxycodone or Oxycontin. Oxycontin is pure oxycodone into a pill, with inert binders. It is the name of the pill. Oxycodone is the name of the chemical in the pill. Technically they are the same thing... "Technically they are the same thing..." >>>Not really true. Oxycodone is the drug itself, yes. Oxycontin is a time-release version of the medication. If you look at two medications, one oxycodone and one Oxycontin, then you are looking at an immediate-release pill and a time-release pill. Be very careful with these drugs. Taking too many can make you very, very sick, and Oxycontin should NEVER be crushed or broken.

Whats the difference between oxycodone and Oxycontin?

MScontin is time released Morphine sulfate (12 hours) at different doses available. Oxycontin is time released oxycodone example of Oxycodone is percocet/with tylenol. Oxycontin also has nothing added to it such as Tylenol. Oxycontin is just oxycodone in a 12hr release formula and made at different doses.

What food has Oxycontin?
