Yes it can- but you wouldn't want it to. One way in which this can come about is through rigor mortis: the muscles stiffening after death. So you can look funny, but you won't be able to appreciate it.
Another way a face can become fixed is after a stroke. During a stroke, the flow of blood to the brain is interrupted. This can leave parts of the brain unable to function. If the portion of the brain that controls facial movement is damaged, the face will not be able to move.
little addition to the answer .... your face can become *for a few secs to a few mins* distorted with muscle spasm anyone who has been *white knuckle tight* for too long has experienced a different way of achieving the same result but with muscle freezing if you put too much stress into doing anything with your muscle it will stay that way for a few seconds
