Can a jurisdictional police officer give you a ticket for running a stop sign in the parking lot of a grocery store?

Answer

I have also been told that most of the time , to answer your question is that it depends on the mood of the officer and the severity of the violation (on private property such as this) but I have also noticed that it is just a whole lot easier all around to just stop where & when you should and then something like this doesn't become a problem.

--- In Ohio, yes. This includes mobile home parks as well.
