Can a marigold grow in fertilizer? In: Home and Garden |
[Edit] |
Not in Straight Fertilizer
If you mean straight fertilizer with no soil, no. It would be overfertilized, which is just as bad as being underfertilized. Marigolds need to be grown in soil and fertilized, if necessary, with either chemical or organic fertilizers according to the directions on the labels. You can also add organic matter and compost to the soil before planting to add nutrients.
