If the minor father has no means of paying child support, then yes his parents could be responsible for that.

Answer2: Sadly the parents could be on the hook especially if the minor child lives with them and has no way to support a baby. Best thing you can do is try to meet with the other grandparents and see what can be done as well as make a visit to Social Services to see what benefits the child may be eligible for.

Technically, if it is not in the court order, your custodial parent could still receive support. However, if I were them I would immediately file for your emancipation and stop the child support. If the child is choosing to make adult decisions, they take on adult responsibilities.

Since the child is a minor, they cannot file for child support. The custodial parent is the one who has to file for the child support for the child.

Yes they do. In some cases their parents can also be sued for child support until the minor parent can do it by themselves.

If the 16yo IS the child no. Only the parent can. Child support is paid to the parent and not to the child.

If the 16yo HAVE a child and therefor want child support, yes they can.
