If there are grounds for such a suit the injured party sues the minor and the parents are generally held responsible for any monetary judgment that is granted to the amount the state law allows. It is a mistaken belief that a minor cannot be sued nor file suit against someone.

First off, I'm not a lawyer. That said, if they intentionally accuse you of it AND you can prove that they KNEW it was false, I believe you may be able to claim defamation of character.

However, you'd have to prove that they KNEW their claim was false, and that they did it to slander you, which could prove difficult.

To get definitive answers, I would talk to a lawyer and not WikiAnswers. You can't count on any answers given here being legally valid.
