Your boyfriend is legally a rapist. In all 50 states he can serve 3-5 years minimum in a state correctional institution. Having sexual intercourse with anyone under the age of 18 is illegal in the United States. If the state can prove that your boyfriend had intercourse with you - he can and will be arrested and tried for "statutory rape". Also - you have no legal standing to decide where you live - so you can't legally live with your boyfriend unless your parents don't complain. * Having sexual intercourse with any person under 18 is not necessarily a criminal act. States establish Age of Consent (AOC) laws which dictate at what age a minor can legally consent to a sexual relationship. A 15-year-old could not live with the 18-year-old unless her parents gave consent for her to marry, not cohabitate. In some states it would also be necessary to obtain permission from the probate court for a 15-year-old to marry. Hospitals are legally required to keep the privacy of all patients including minors, that being the case the hospital could not notify authorities of the birth of the child nor the circumstances surroundng the matter. That being the case the father of the baby would not be in jeopardy simply because he was present at the birth of the baby. The possibility of his being arrested and charged with statutory rape is unlikely. If he were to face any criminal charge it would be one of sexual misconduct with a minor. IF convicted, in all likelihood he would not be incarcerated but would be given a suspended sentence and probation with the condition that he provide for the child.
No. Having a baby does not emancipate you. You need parental consent until you are 18. The only right added is that you decide over your health and over the baby. 15 is below age of consent in every state so unless there is a close in age exemption in your state he has committed statutory rape. The staff at the hospital can report him or they cannot. Since you are not married he has no parental rights until he has been to court and proved paternity with his DNA. He can then petition for custody, visitation and pay child support. If you need state benefits they will come after him for child support and then they will know his age when he shows up to court.
They both can get arrested for first having sex when minors, two for making her pregnant.
I would say you tell him regardless if you have complications or not.
No. At twelve, the state assumes that you are a child, and they are correct. Your boyfriend will be arrested for rape and/or child endangerment. There would be no appeal because of the age factor. Your boyfriend would go to jail for a very long time and you would probably be sent to Youth Services instead of going back to your parents. Your parents can be arrested too for allowing that to happen. This is NOT a good idea.
A DNA Test would be a good idea !!
ha depends on the guy your dating. mine wouldnt.
I'm pretty sure most age of consent is 16. He would only get arrested if you were to charge him with statutory rape. Since he is under the age of 24 and you are 16 he can not be charged with stautory rape in Florida.
a husband. a boyfriend, to begin with atleast. to have to be not particularly smart
YES!That would be something to be very very very concerned about! Yes, I would be. That is illegal, and sick.
Miss your period or pregnancy tests.
The best time to get pregnant is in 5 to 10 years.
* It appears you are putting all the blame on your boyfriend's wife and you are wrong by being his mistress. If he loved you he would have gotten a divorce. Whether she got pregnant while he was in prison is not the issue here .. your actions are!
Well, your boyfriend would dump you because he wouldn't want the responsibility of taking care of a child so to put it bluntly, do not have sex.
