It would probably not be best to use that on an infant, it can often be too harsh for them. I would suggest using a humidifier in the room instead, or heating up the shower, and standing in the steam. If there is a fever involved use an appropriate fever reducer, such as Childrens Motrin etc. Or infants tylenol. Good Luck and hope your little one feels better
