Can a woman pee standing up?In: Womens Health |
[Edit] |
Answer
Technically, yes. Logistcally, not unless she wants to make a mess.
Answer
Yes, but it takes practice to not make a mess. Try squatting facing a toilet bowl (with the seat up) to start with then move on to nearly fully standing position. Practice makes perfect! Note: It is more difficult to pee standing up (and not make a mess) when you *really* need to go! ;-)

I've also heard there are some products which may be used instead of getting your hands on your labia, but I'm having difficulty locating them.
I know women and girls who can pull down pants and panties, face toilet bowl and pee without touching or moving there labia, and go pee into toilet (no mess, other maybe a drop or 2 of pee on panties or pants)! Sometimes they do not need to wipe! I believe it is something to do with how the angle of urethra coming out from body and size of major and minor labia (smaller probably is better). I can pee standing up as good as a guy now. I find it much easier and that is the only way i pee.
