An abscess is an infection - an infection can spread to all different parts of your body. See a dentist ASAP to avoid migraines, sore throat, earaches, etc...
Abscessed teeth are no fun. Abscesses can lead to spreading of the infection and worse... death. They are not something to mess around with. They appear as boils inside your mouth making your gums swell as they become filled with puss. They may pop or be popped and drained and often leave a laceration or drainage sight in the mouth. Your breath will reek, your food will taste horrible and it will be very hard to swallow. Take my advice and go get professional help. It's worth it.
