When a person reaches the age of 18, he or she is considered an adult. As such, the person can move out of his or her parents house and the parents cannot prevent them from doing so. Similarly when a child reaches the age of 18, the parents are no longer required by law to provide support for them. If you have the money to sustain yourself or you have a job that can sustain you, you can move out. However if you move out, you may lose out any support you are receiving from your parents.
