The law in America is if your spouse is an American citizen and you have a legal wedding/cerimony the other if not already becomes an American citizen. In Canada the law could be different so check their laws.

Yes, they can. You just need to do the paper works at the nearest Canadian embassy or consulate general. Your children will then receive wallet-sized card which is their certificate of Canadian citizenship.

Nope. Not just by marrying. You still have to jump through a lot of hoops. And, although by marrying an American a foreigner acquires a right to reside in the US, the same is not true of Canada. You would have to have some other basis if you wanted to reside in Canada, other than simply marrying a Canadian.

You must first apply for Canadian permanent residency. After you have been living in Canada for 3 years out of 4 as a permanent resident, you can apply for citizenship.

Who does Canada allow dual citizenship with?

Canada does not allow dual citizenship solely based on bilateral agreements (like the way Spain does with Spanish South American countries, Philippines, and Portugal). Therefore, if you become a Canadian citizen and you are from a country that does not allow dual citizenship, you may lose your original nationality because of the laws of that country, not Canada.
