Can an illegal immigrant get a driver's license in NC?

Illegal immigrants aren't supposed to be eligible for any federally governed system. As they do not pay into the tax system, they are not offered the benefits of paved roads, street signs, or traffic lights, which are all payed for by legal citizen's tax dollars. Driving is a privilege allotted to the citizens of a country, who support that country. Also, to obtain a driver's license, you need to produce a valid social security card, an original United States birth certificate, and a proof of residency within that state, which are all documents an illegal immigrant cannot produce, unless illegally obtained.
