Answer

By all means yes! Until we suffer from anxiety, panic attacks, etc., we are not aware how sight, sound, smell and taste effect our daily lives. When we get anxious we are more aware of all these things. If you had a bad experience in a movie theater and at the time could smell popcorn then 9 chances out of 10 everytime you smelled popcorn again you would become anxious and wonder why you feel anxious. You generally don't connect it to the event that caused it.

I don't know what you mean by unknown colors. Everyone knows colors. Smells are the worst reminders of bad times for us. Sight sends messages to the brain like smells do and even sounds. If something terrible happened to you and there was certain music in the background without even realizing it you would be very sensitive to that music if it were played again.

Anxiety can create panic attacks and without treatment can lead to Agoraphobia. It's a pretty frightening experience when one doesn't have control over their own bodies and suddenly they are fighting all these fears. Most of us hate the panic attacks and fear we will make fools of ourselves out in public. It's a constance 24/7 battle for anxiety sufferers to cover up their panic attacks and leaves them exhausted at the end of the day and a vicious cycle continues until they either succumb to being afraid to leave the house, answer the phone and can't cope with every day life and that's called "Agoraphobia."

There are good medications out there and other treatments so if you suffer from this please seek out the help as soon as possible. Join a group and get a mate or friend to take you. Never be ashamed of your anxiety as there are millions of people who are suffering from it.

Go on anxiety boards. Go to www.google.com Type in Anxiety chat boards. You won't feel so alone when you can talk to others about your problems and be astounded at how many people suffer from anxiety. I know, I beat panic attacks and Agoraphobia and I have learned tools to help me cope with stress.

Good luck Marcy

I belive what you have stated is true, however note you will be amazed at the many different fears each one of us carries. For example until I was in my late 20's a had an unearthly fear of grasshoppers.

Below I just list something that might be helpfull to you to fight anziety, panic attacks and social disorders. It will wipe these things away and allow you to be the wonderfull person you really are, good luck.

This information may help you out quite a bit. For those who cannot exercise for some reason due to disabilities or plain laziness the next best thing is the following combinations of vitamins and minerals. Take the below each morning and your problem will be cured. 1. Omega 3 fish oil capsules. 2. Calcium tablets. 3. Magnesium tablets and 4. Vitamin C. When I take these each morning I have no panic attacks or social anxiety disorders, I can be myself and joke around without feeling bashfull or foolish. I dont know if these would work for depression however a better attitude can cause you to rebound from any down feelings much more quickly.

Another dynamic thought, When I do get down and feel mad and irritated and hatefull. I get on my knees and sing praise songs I typed up to music I have recorded. I really dont how it works but I get up feeling really happy and if feels like a salve has been poured over my mind and emotions. I think the Holy Spirit is alive and working in praise to our Lord God Jesus Christ.
