Yes, it can. It is safer for your skin to use the more orthodox treatments, like lotrimin and other creams, but bleach does it quicker. There is also, however, a big risk of leaving a scar where the ringworm used to be if you leave it on too long.

I used all of the creams and pills from my doctor for a month, and nothing worked and it spread terribly all over my back and chest. I started day 1 with a 50-50 bleach solution being careful not to cover more area than necessary (it will sting), and washed it off after 5 min. I then went to a 6-1 bleach and water mix with lotrimin spray after my skin dried for four more days twice a day (also stings). This killed the infection in it's tracks. Just be prepared for dry and itching skin that you cannot scratch during the healing process.

yes bleach can kill ringworm.When I was young my Mom would put a couple capfuls of bleach in our bathwater if we got ringworm.It worked like a charm.
