Bunnies should not be bathed. If something gets on them from being in your home, like honey, use a warm cloth to clean them, do not get them fully wet. Bunnies to not naturally bathe as a method of cleaning and it can be extremely upsetting to them.
I have had bunnies for over 20 years and have only twice had to bathe a bunny, once beacuse a sick child threw up all over the poor bunny while snuggling with her.
We bathed the bunny in our kitchen with the lights turned low, a towel in the bottom of a large sink so they didn't feel like they were slipping at anytime and used as little water as possible. We did not fill the sink, but rather ran the water over them as we removed the bits and cleaned her up. They can become very upset by bathing so being as calm and quiet as possible during the bath (again, only if absolutely necessary) is helpful.
Because they are crazy about bananas, we gave them each a few inches of banana after the bath as a reward.
Word to the wise, do not let a sick child snuggle up with a bunny!
Why not? It doesn't change anything. Dog fur is similar to our hair.
Yes you can but it would be better to have a quality dog shampoo. Our skin does not have the same ph level as dogs and it can dry out the pet's skin.
yes, it's recommended
Rinse the soap out of your dogs eyes soon and completely with lots of water. Next time use Johnson and Johnson's baby shampoo tearless. No it won't make your dog have bad eyesight it will sting his eyes though.
They make a dry shampoo for dogs call your vet and ask him/her where to get it from
you buy shampoo according to its coat type
I wouldn't recommend it 1 if you must bath your dog - use a mild shampoo such as those made for babies !
You have to go into care and select shampoo. If your dog has long hair use long hair shampoo if your dog has short hair use short hair shampoo. Click on the appropriate shampoo and then select the dog. (it's really simple)
i wouldn't because the dogs hair could start to fall out but i would ask your vet first. On my dog i use dog shampoo but that's becaus eof the breed.
Most of these answers don't understand the question. The question was can I use a ferret shampoo on the DOG. As most ferret shampoos are very gentle, they should be very safe to use on dogs which can generally tolerate more stronger shampoos. That is the reason stronger dog shampoos are not recommended for ferrets.
Yes, a small amount of baby shampoo will be fine. Make certain to rinse well. Your animal will appreciate it if you don't get it's nose or mouth wet with shampoo. Enjoy!
You shouldn't, because it is too harsh for their skin. You should use cat shampoo, or if you don't have any cat shampoo, you can use baby shampoo, but not dish soap nor regular human shampoo for adults.
There is no bad effect using human shampoo. In fact, using baby human shampoo is good for dogs to maintain a silky and smooth skin. But note that dog shampoo has more chemicals in it that is specifically for the dog's fur. That is why it's still better to use a dog shampoo for dogs.
i do not know if it is ok but you shouldn't do it ok ta da
Any soap specifically designed for puppies; your supermarket will stock dog shampoos. You mustn't use human-type soaps because the skin of furred animals such as dogs is very sensitive and soaps and shampoos designed for humans are too harsh and could cause skin irritation.
