You don't have to put cake in the fridge but it is typical to do so. Either way, make sure the cake is properly covered. I only recommend leaving the cake on the counter if you plan to eat it soon and their is no rodents or pests in the house. Also, if you don't properly cover your cake in the fridge, it can dry out and/or water can seep in.
Yes, cake can be left out for a few hours and still stay fresh and all. To make it keep longer, try to keep the cake out of direct sunlight, away from high heat, out of the elemetns (wind, rain, ect.), and in a dry place.
yes it can as long as the room is not to hot :-0

Yes. but it would take on awful long time
Cake will go stale eventually at any temperature above freezing, or if frozen without proper wrapping.
no
That usually happens when it goes bad or spoils.
Fondant won't really "preserve" a piece of cake. It will keep it fresher a bit longer, but the cake will still go bad soon thereafter.
Its not the cake its how much you eat of it.
No. It may cake or clump over time if it absorbs moisture, and it's possible that it could become contaminated by foreign material, but sodium chloride itself will not "go bad."
Depends what kind of cake. If it has fatty, sugary icing on it then it's pretty obvious why it's bad for you. Not to mention the cake itself is packed with carbs, fat, sugar and TONS of calories.
No lemon cake does not have egg in it cause lemon and egg mixture in cake leads to sickness and bad taste
There is no cake on Wimpy Wonderland. You may have some bad information.
