no... its only going to work around your due date if your baby is ready to be born anyway, they dont recomend it as it will give you the runs and who wants to try deal with labour and the runs... very unlikely to work at your due date let alone that early on. do not try and induce labour at 28 weeks as your baby is not delvoloped and maynot survive!

∙ 6y agoIt MAY induce your labor.. old wives tale. I have never heard of anyone that it actually worked on but it WILL give you severe diarrhea! I would not try this one. Walking is the best thing to speed up your labor.

It will cause increased cramping and uncomfortableness for you and not worth it. When the time is right, the baby will come. Do not rush it, take this time to rest and prepare yourself for the baby. My sister is an OBGYN. She said that this is an absolute idiotic thing for a woman to do.
