I can help but I am not a doctor. I have Asthma, and I smoke. Horrible I know, but I get chest pain and I believe it is because of that. A few years ago, I had unbearable chest pain and went to the hospital they didn't know what is was. They gave me pain medication at first but when I went to my physician he knew it was my asthma and I was treated with a breathing machine and it cure my pain. I am on only a inhaler as needed. hope it helps.
