It's more of a masking /repellent than a contact spray with no residual. Bedbugs are hardy. If you want a good aerosol, try ECOPCOACU or ECOPCOARX (acronyms)-they are both chemical free (plant/food oils) but kill them instantly. I've seen them on Ebay. The only diff is ARX has residual other doesn't. The tough part is the box springs, you should get a slipcover for the mattress set or consider replacing if they are inside or they could come back.

Grew up in India. DDT powder and anti mosquito spray was a must in every home rich or poor When bed bugs `struck' mattresses were put out on the terrace for a sunning and DDT powder was generously sprinkled in the room. The bed bugs did not live to tell the tale. Sure DDT works..more than works..in fact Friends who grew up in Poland and E Europe say the same..its the bed bug killer that `nukes' them out. Why has Canada banned DDT?

umm... yeah probably, my best answer for killing bed bugs would be to bomb your house. I had them and they were on my grandmas couch and whoever sleep there got them bad.. i counted and had 55 all over my body... then next time i sleep there i sleep on that couch and had none.. i would bomb the house... or get rid of whatever has them in it..
