This is not a very easy question to answer, as it has many variables. That being said, as long as your disharge was under favorable conditions and you haven't gone and become a felon since your discharge and you still meet the requirements for enlistment, you can generally reenlist prior to disharge. Generally speaking, unless you left with a BCD or a dishonorable discharge, or some sort of medical or mental discharge disqualifying you from service and you haven't become an outlaw you should be in the clear.

Yes, you can reenlist if it was a Honorable Discharge. Now it is difficult depending on the reason why. I was discharged for a knee injury, so I need to get a doctor's note saying I'm medically cleared to run. Once that is taken cared of You will have to be in shape and meet military standards as you were still in. BMI etc. I'm in the process myself. talk to a recruiter and he/she can tell you what exactly. Wish you the best of luck.

yes i believe so

When one is discharged from a U.S. military branch, he or she is given a code that determines whether or not they are eligible for reenlistment (or joining another branch of the service). Basically, the codes are along the lines of fully qualified, qualified with restrictions, not qualified.

Those who are definitely ineligible include those who have retired with 20 or more years of active Federal service, those who have been separated from service with a nonwaiverable disqualification, and those who do not meet citizenship requirements.

Depends on how you discharged and what re enlistment code you were given. Code 4's cannot re enlist.

General rule of thumb, no. While it may not be necessarily impossible, your chances of being able to reenlist with any type of RE4 code is extremely unlikely.

Typically, no. There may be some cases where the medical condition was treated and resolved, but those would be case by case situations.

Yes, as long it was honorable. Depending on how long they were out they may have to go back through some form of boot camp and training.
