I'm pretty sure if you fed a dog sprinkles, if they ate too many they would get sick, especially if there was chocolate and they ate a whole bottle, but it really depends on the dog and what his stomach can take.

Dogs can have sprinkles as long as it's just a little. Your dog won't get sick as long as you give him/her about 1-10. That's my advice.
