== == Not nearly to the same degree as we can, they can't make out the 2-D image, or know that the Basketball bouncing across the screen is an image depicting a basketball. But they can detect light and motion and there for "see" what's happening to some extent.
Yes, dogs can see the television. The other day we were watching a movie and there was no sound but there was dogs on the screen and my dog was totally whatching it and got really jumpy like he does whenever he sees dogs
Kinda, They see it like a blur but can hear your TV 100% Unlike Cats, they can see your TV screen very clearly. We had a dog that would bark at cat chow commercials, very irritating.
Dogs can in fact see TV. I am almost 100% certain about this because I was watching TV and my dog would follow the ducks that were on the tv and her head would follow the them too.
Rabbits don't really watch TV, although they do like to sit right in front of it. This is because when you are sitting watching it bunny believes you are watching him!
Well, I have a rabbit and he stares at the TV.
So yes, maybe they can.
I don't think they understand it though!
Dogs can see anything we can but they see in black white and gray.
green and blue are the rabbits main vision colours
cats have better eye sight, with colours, us and cats are about equal. cats can see the furthest and considering how far we can see, cats see far things in detail unlike humans, it gets blurry. our normal sight range are about the same, though cats can see things quicker than we can
You cannot see cats eyes unless the light catches them, when the light does you will see a glimse of glowing grees. I looks quite spooky when you see my cats.
Yes, they did according to a television show I watched on the discovery channel. I can't remember what it was called though.
Cats have limited color vision, but can differentiate between blue and yellow, and between red and green, although the latter are less distinguishable. It is thought that cats can see the upper end of the visual spectrum (blues and violets) much better than between colours near the red end of the spectrum. The retina (the nerve center at the back of a cats eye) contains cells called cones (responsible for converting light into color) and rods (responsible for light reception). In cats, rods outnumber cones by a lot. Distinguishing color isn't necessary for cats. Brightness and movement sensitivity is far more important.
Actally, they do! My cat enjoys watching movies with lots of light and figures moving around the screen. He perches up atop the couch, behind where we sit and watches TV with us. We also find it rather funny when he runs to the screen and tries to hit the moving characters on it. Usually, the older the cat the more they like to sit in your lap and watch TV with you, but it all depends on the cat!
Cats can see movement on the screen but can really not see what the 2 D picture is.
