I strongly advise against using drano. The drain line from the dishwasher to the garbage disposal is pretty short. Try running your dishwasher and fill up your sink, when your dishwasher starts to drain, pull the plug on the sink and start your garbage disposal. You may be able to get away with using Drano a few times, but the thin plastic tube will be made brittle and possibly break in the future, also you will want to run it empty a few times if you do use a chemical. Odds are the clog is at the drain and you have some clearly nasty junk clogging it that will require some manual work. I recommend cutting up a coat hanger and bending a small hook on the end to clean it out.
There could be other electrical / mechanical issues with your dishwasher, you may want to have a trusted service technician take a look.
No definitely not. Drano should not be used anywhere. It is very harmful to your Plumbing

Yes.
Drano products are used to prevent septic tank problems. One can purchase them directly from their official website. One can also purchase Drano products from Walmart.
Drano was created in 1923.
Drano is an alkaline cleaner.
Drano contain sodium hydroxide (NaOH).
Drano is a hydrochloric acid chemical used to clean out drains, but every great plumber out there knows its dangers and stays away from drano.Drano can also be used to make a bomb . all you need is drano a water bottle and aluminim foil. cap the bottle once all ingredents are in shake and throw . will cause it to explode do no touch the acid on the inside of the bottle will burn skin off!!!!!!!!!!Drano is not hydrochloric acid... Drano is the exact opposite. It's a base. This is why people end up doing stupid stuff and getting chemical burns on their face. If you think Drano is the same as HCI, then mix some Drano and HCI. If your right and its the same thing, nothing will happen. (Hint: Make sure you have somebody standing by to drive you the the hospital after you mix it).
If the faucet on the sink.can hook up to the dishwasher then yes it can.
Little if any. Drano is, in essence, lye.
Yes, the main ingredient in Drano is sodium hydroxide, a strong base.
Drano has an approximate pH level of 13-14 which is very basic.
