I too had a dull aching in my lower belly at approx six weeks pregnant and it was accompanied by a brown discharge so as you can imagine I thought the worst. The pain was very similar to a period pain and I was convinced something was wrong and so the hospital gave me an early scan and everything was ok. I have also read on the internet that you can get growing pains during early pregnancy which apparently is the womb preparing itself for the growth of a baby. Also you can become constipated during pregnancy which also can be a very similar pain to a period pain. I hope this has helped and I wish you and baby all the best x

Pain in the lower stomach could mean that an embryo is entering the egg or something. It could also mean gas though. Private area hurting COULD mean your having a miscarriage. But like I said theres always something else it could be.
