A fantastic plant that doesn't require much sun at all (although it requires a little bit of light to grow a lot) and that doesn't require much care either is the "Mother in law's tongue". Also known as a snakeskin plant, you can get it in most nurseries.

Cut flowers should not be put in direct sunlight. They will dry up faster in direct sunlight. Put them in indirect sunlight spots to have them last longer.

A plant cannot survive without sunlight or a source of sunlight. Fluorescent lighting can take the place of sunlight for a plant if sunlight is not possible.
