Best Answer

Food grade diatomaceous earth ie... Perma Guard's Fossil Shell Flour can be consumed by humans. As long as it is unheated, FOOD GRADE AMORPHOUS SILICA shell flour from one of 4 FDA approved diatom deposits. I have been consuming 3 heaping tablespoons a day for over a year and have had no adverse effects; in fact, just the opposite. Make sure that whatever you do that it is FOOD GRADE DE and that it comes from a source you trust.
