Can i become a general practitioner when studying a bachelor of science in biological sciences?

Answer

A BS degree is a good first step. Next you must go to medical school, do an internship, pass your boards (exams), get licensed and then do a residency. About 7-10 years of school.
That's to be a GP if you want to specialize, OB/GYN, Dermatology, Endocrinology, etc you have more school etc. Don't give up. If you truly want to be a doctor its worth it.

If all that seems like too much work there is another option. You can become a nurse practitioner. Its 3 years to become nurse and then another 2 years to become a nurse practitioner. NP's see patients, prescribe medications, and treat illness just like a doctor. The biggest differences are an NP must work under the supervision of a doctor and they don't make as much money.
