Can infants eat shrimp and other shellfish?

Answer:

generally it is considered a bad idea to introduce shellfish to children under 2 years old. Shellfish tend to have allot of bacteria and can contain pollutants that are usually not dangerous to an older child or adult but can be very dangerous to a infant/toddler.
