Yes, but only if its in a continuous use , like using Skype for 4 hours. A warning will appear and it will shut down. It will turn back on when the A4 chip is cooled off. Its from the iPod processing for over 3 hours. But don't worry leave it off for about a day or two. and it will be back up and running. (that is, if it shuts off automatically) If it does not shut off with the warning, and shuts off unexpectedly with no warning. you should see about getting it fixed.
