Yes--I am 39 weeks pregnant and was unaware at first because of this. I took two pregnancy tests, both top of the line ones, and they came back negative. Then when my period still have not come, and was two weeks late, I took another. I was sure it would be negative but I was wondering why I still hadn't started bleeding. The test came back positive. Unfortunately there are many many false negatives with home tests. That's why blood tests are best, if you have insurance or the cash to pay. There are several things that can contribute to a negative pregnancy test even if you are pregnant. Some medications can give you a false negative, the timing of the test can affect the results. If you did not follow directions properly; if you let the test sit for too long the results may read negative after a while. It is important to read the results within the amount of time given on the instructions of that particular pregnancy test you bought. If you did not perform the test properly (example: you drank a lot of fluids before taking the test, which can dilute your urine). Etc

Yes. Home pregnancy tests only read up to a certain amount of hCG or the pregnancy hormone. Anything above that number would read negative.

You have taken 5 home pregancies they come up positive you have had two blood tests they both came up negative but the 2 one you took dected something and you had a little bit of human chrorine?

The best way to find out if you are pregnant are the blood tests. I have been mislead by home pregnancy tests before. But in my situation they came up negative and my blood tests came up positive... I was in fact pregnant.

What exactly are you asking? Are you asking if you could be pregnant again? Home tests are not reliable.

It is more common for home pregnancy tests to give a false negative than a false positive. You could be testing too soon. Home pregnancy tests are considered accurate 14-16 days after ovulation.

It's possible to get pregnant on Mirena, but rare. Your pregnancy tests are negative. Absent periods are a normal side effect of Mirena.
