No. Although some kinds of lava are hotter than others, no lava is "cold." The lowest temperature lava in the world, the carbonatite lava of Ol Doinyo Lengai, has a temperature of over 900 degrees Fahrenheit.
It doesn't necessarily mean actual lava "freezing".It's more like when the lava cools off. When the lava cools,it turns into an igneous rock which is a rock made of cooled off lava.If the rock freezes,it breaks apart which means the lava is freezing.Got it?Post on my wall so we can chat sometime!
As the lava travels, its heat transfers to what it touches. Crystals start forming, and eventually the lava solidifies as more and more form.

Rock.
it is really cold
It usually depends on how hot the lava and how cold the water is. I think it can take around half a minute for the lava to cool off when its in cold water and that's all i can think of.
it cools it down
Lava flows from the rifts and is cooled quickly by sea water
That shouldn't be a question because it's common sense that lava is hot because it comes from the core and essential for our earth to have the flow. Lava helps make islands and etc. If the lava was cold that means our core would be a ball of ice and we would be living in a different formation of crust in the surface of our planet.
water, cold

Easy, temperature. An example is lava. Lava is so hot, it is red. Snow, it is so cold because it is white.
one is HOT lava lava and rock............magma is cold lava so you don't have to say HOT lava
Magma is cold lava, when a volcano has erupted and lava starts to pour out when it cools down or touches water it turns into a rock cold magma.
Hot/Cold cycle.
it cools it down
Lava flows from the rifts and is cooled quickly by sea water
Cold (almost freezing) water applied to lava can slow the flow and eventually cause it to solidify.
