Does sand melt?  Can you melt sand?  Why wont ice melt in the sand?  What does lightning do to sand?  Can lightning melt your face off?  Does lightning really make glass when it hits sand?  Will lightning make glass in that shape if it hits sand?  When lightning and sand meet does it actually make a glass like substance?
