Answer

It is not likely. Symptoms are not generally noticable until around the 5th week of conception, although some women do say they feel symptoms within two weeks.

The most reliable symptom is a missed period.

Answer

I have had two pregnancies where symptoms developed exactly a week after ovulation. The ealiest symptom was slight nausea and then the next day I also had breast tenderness and tugging sensations deep in my uterus area. The first time I was ever pregnant, though, I didn't have any symptoms until the day after I missed my period. I'm guessing that I felt symptoms earlier with the next pregnancies because I was more attuned to the sensations of pregnancy (having done it before). I know people claim you can't feel things that early - but I know I did. Some people are probably just more sensitive to low levels of hormones than others.

I was on holidays and had sex with my fiance and he also came.We didn't use ant protection and within a couple of days i felt different. Its been 20 days since i had sex and haven't taken a test. I keep getting crampy pains and thugging sensation something that cannot be described. I hope i am preg but i do believe people have thier own instinct whether they are preg or not? I'm just trying to be careful as i go to the gym 3 times a week and am not overdoing it with the weights just in case.

Answer

I have pregnacy symptoms and its was just a week after haveing unprtected sex. I didn't know if I was sick or if I was finally pregnant.

Answer

I have begun to have symptoms and it is less than a week after unprotected sex. however, I am on birth control, but have only been on them 4 months. I took a break off them after 10 years of use. I think that I was ovulating last week, but today, I have a slight headache which I never have ( headaches that is) and I feel bloated, irritable and I am a little gasy as well. The Nausea comes and goes, but I never feel this way, in this combination, and I am suspecting that when my period is scheduled to arrive in 12 days in will not come.

Answer

Many women begin noticing slight symptoms within a day or two of implantation, which usually occurs 7-10 days after conception (not necessarily the same as 7-10 days after sex!). The pregnancy hormone, HCG, is not present in the bloodstream until after implantation, and sometimes can be detected by an early home pregnancy test as soon as 10 days past ovulation if pregnancy has occurred. After implantation, some women begin to feel the typical signs of early pregnancy -- sore breasts, slight nausea, etc. A friend of mine swears she always knew she was pregnant before she missed her period because her sinuses started acting up for no reason with all three of her pregnancies several days before her period was due. It's really very different for every woman. Still, developing symptoms at one week past conception seems very unlikely.

Answer

I think anything is possible. Let's say you mistimed ovulation. You may have intercourse, have ovulated, and totally be able to feel pregnancy symptoms within a week or even days. If you ovulated one day before intercourse, the ovum (egg) can live for up to 24 hours. So you have sex and 1 week later (really 8 days) you now feel weird symptoms. Implantation can occur 6-12 days after ovulation. It's not an exact science. You may implant earlier or later, depending on your body and how fast or slow the embryo would travel from your fallopian tubes to the uterus. Also, if you had IUI or IVF your symptoms would vary. Some women actually have a period throughout their pregnancy, others only spot. Every pregnancy is different for everyone. My daughter, I knew I was pregnant well before I missed my period because of sore breasts. I just took the test later because I didn't want to be disappointed if it was impending menstruation....With my son, I cramped, had bloating, etc. No sore breasts, no nausea (at first). Sure enough, I was not only pregnant, but with 2 babies! I lost one in the 1st trimester, but went on to deliver a healthy baby boy. Yes, I did end up with morning sickness, 8 weeks gestation. With my last pregnancies, I felt ill, and then nothing. I lost 3 of those. With my triplets, I felt NO SYMPTOMS until I was 8 weeks along. Didn't even believe my cycle worked, let alone worked 3 fold. I lost one at 11 weeks, and didn't gain much weight, but I had 2 healthy babies. Now I am ttc my final baby, and of course, my cycles are all over the place. I am unsure if I am pregnant, I have tugging at my breasts, back pain, and abdominal pain, but it could be anything! Goes to show even veterans sometimes don't know! And sometimes newbies just do!
