Can prenatal vitamins help you get pregnant?
Answer:
If you were run down and lacking in nutrients, possibly. Their purpose is to insure a healthy pregnancy; mom and baby.
If you are suffering from infertility - no pre-natal's won't make any difference.
They just provide proper nutrition for your baby such as Folic Acid that will help your baby's spinal development! Folic acid, AKA Vit B helps prevent Spina Bifida - it should be taken three months before conception and at least through the first trimester.
To get pregnant your fertilized egg has to attach itself to the womb. prenatal vitamins give you a little more of what you're missing from foods you eat or don't eat in turn creating a better environment for the process to take place.
There is a larger dose of iron and other things in prenatal vitamins.
There is nothing wrong with taking prenatal vitamins when you are not pregnant. its just like taking a regular vitamin, but more beneficial if you are trying to get pregnant
My Doctor told me that you should take prenatal vitamins before and during pregnancy so that your body can have all it needs to help your baby survive
No, but they make you healthier and more able to support a baby if you become pregnant.
