Sea water has lot's of bacteria that we don't know about in it. In fact, any kind of water has some sort of bacterial particles in it. So, naturally it can be bad. It affects some women more than others but the answer is yes. It can cause a yeast infection. Make sure you get it treated ASAP. If your symptoms continue to occur get help immediately.
